Sam French, aged 16, of Congleton Cycling Club with his two friends Joe Swinnerton and James Duncalf, both 14 and members of Lyme Racing Club, completed the challenge of climbing the Killer Mile to Mow Cop, ten times nonstop. They achieved this on May day Bank Holiday (May 5th).<\/p>\n

The group of teenagers, who attend Alsager School, have raised over \u00a3400 so far, for the Donna Louise Trust hospice in Trentham, which assists terminally ill young people.<\/p>\n

A small group of supporters stood on the 25% slope past the Cheshire View to witness the feat and shout encouragement. Another Congleton Club Member also rode the challenge. Steve Sladin had only gone to make a donation, but ended by riding the climb ten times as well.<\/p>\n
