It was the the first of 3 Manchester and District Time trial Association 10 mile TT&#8217;s held on the Twemlow to Chelford and back course. Jack Schofield (pictured) was a fine 4th in 22 minutes flat in his first ride for the club. Philip Gleave 23:55, Stephen Sladin 25:07, Lee Wood 26:39 and Polly Wilding 30:41 (on a road bike), all returned excellent times on a cold, wet Saturday afternoon.\u00a0Jack, Philip and Stephen earned third team prize. (provisional)<br \/>\nPhilip&#8217;s time is thought to be a PB. He followed it up the next day by finishing a fine 12th in the Crewe Clarion Wheelers\u00a0&#8220;hilly&#8221; 17 mile TT on the Nantwich, Audlem, Woore, Nantwich circuit.
